Meet Logan Hansen

I am a structural engineer and a passionate Division III sports fan.

I grew up in Minnesota, but attended Wartburg College after graduating high school, where I was a three-year starter at linebacker and on the defensive line. Upon graduation I went to Iowa State to pursue a Master's in Structural Engineering, but couldn't stay away from football for too long. So I transferred to UW-Platteville and worked as a graduate assistant coach for the Pioneers for two seasons, coaching running backs and defensive backs. After my two years at Platteville, I decided to sell out to make sure big expensive things don't fall over.

I now live in West Des Moines, IA with my wife, but no dog because she won't let me. I am also the offensive line coach at a local high school, as well as our (un)official statistical analyst, specializing in the area of in-game analysis 4th down and PAT decision-making, adjusted for game script, opponent, and personnel (I've spent more time on this than is probably healthy for HS sports, to be honest).
